
History and Uses of Duct Tapes
Duct Tapes are cloth based tapes, made of rubber based adhesive which is strong, durable, heat and water resistant. All we need is a roll of duct tape to fix anything like air ducts, leaky pipes , car, boat, clothes etc. First ever Duct Tape is made for United States military at the time of world war 2 by Permacel division of Johnson & Johnson to seal ammunition cases from leakage. Soldiers were able to fix everything using this tape from clothes to vehicles. It was green in color which got changes to silver because of its usage in duct works. Now it is available is different colors & prints.
Duct tape is made of 3 layers bottom is rubber based adhesive gives strength, middle layer is cloth which adds flexibility and top layer is plastic which makes it water proof. Regardless of its strength, it is removable very easily using a hand.
Variations
Airmaster Duct Tapes are available in grey and black Color. Width varies from 1 inch, 1 1/2 inch and 2 inch of length 30 Yards.
